Panel to Discuss Unit Clarification

- Attorney Chris Ashley, Senior Systems Legal Counsel. (Chris was the attorney who argued on behalf of the University System in this case.)
- Heather Daniels, Chair, ASEC (Academic Staff Executive Committee)
- Russell Diamond, Chair, Ad Hoc Committee on Collective Bargaining
Last Thursday all members of the academic staff received an email from the Secretary of the Academic Staff regarding the recent ruling by the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission (WERC). This means that “unit clarification” process which seeks to assign Category A academic staff to existing state employees’ unions can proceed. Bring your questions and concerns!
