Dear MASN Members – we are extremely sorry about the scheduling mix-up at what was supposed to be the Winter Social yesterday afternoon!
Let’s try this again – MASN members, please join us on Thursday, Feb 6 from 4-6PM at Smitty’s Study Pub on the 8th Floor of the Fluno Center, for an evening of conversation, 2 free drink tickets, and appetizers with fellow academic staff members. Former member? You can check if you’re registered by following these steps and if not, join online ahead of time, or at the event for those drink tickets!
Everyone will be inside the bar, and we’ll have a sign out with pictures of the current board members – find one of those folks – their nametags will also say BOARD on them – to say hello and get signed-in.
Now, just in case anything goes bad with scheduling again, we’re prepared – we’ve chatted with Vintage Brewing, just across the street from Fluno, and they are happy to have MASN; drink tickets and appetizer orders and all! So, while of course we are very expectant that Smitty’s will work out next week – our backup plan is to move to Vintage at 529 University Ave – and all the aforementioned drinks, apps, and fun will continue as planned. We’ll let the email list know if that happens, same as yesterday.
