Thank you for coming by our table at the UW Madison Benefits Fair this past Tuesday! We had a great table set up and a great turnout. Board members took turns staffing the table and we had a lot of fun talking with many of you. We had over 20 new or returning member sign-ups! Who would have thought; people like a gift basket raffle with so many great treats from our campus community friends.
There can only be one winner, unfortunately, and that winner is Jeff Bartz! Here’s a video of Past-President Becky Ryan doing the winning ticket pull:
Congrats, Jeff! For all MASN members though, the 2025 year is just starting out. We’ve got all kinds of events coming up: a tour of Morgridge Hall next Friday, October 24, the campus’s Heating and Cooling Plant on November 4th, the Primate Research Center on December 11th. We have a possible info session/brownbag (Bring your own) lunch with the UW Academic Staff lobbyist at the capitol, Kathi Kilgore, we’re working on scheduling too! And of course in January, we’re always excited about the Winter Social, where all members get drink tickets and appetizers/snacks with your MASN colleagues at a campus pub!
So thanks again, members – check your emails and be ready to RSVP for these tours. And if you’re an Academic Staff employee who isn’t a member – why not join us?
