CAVE, or the CIMSS Analysis and Visualization Environment
MASA members learn about the CAVE, or the CIMSS Analysis and Visualization Environment, which provides audio-visual access for viewing the latest high-tech graphics and dynamical weather displays.

satellite meteorology during a visit to the Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Space Sciences Building. View real-time imagery of Earth and its atmosphere on a unique 3-D weather globe. This tour will also include a visit to the CAVE, or the CIMSS Analysis and Visualization Environment, before ascending to the roof of the AOSS building for a striking birds-eye view of Madison.
