A Brownbag group book discussion of the Go Big Read book, Just Mercy. Go Big Read is UW-Madison’s common-reading program. It has thousands of people reading, talking and sharing their reactions and opinions. The idea is to engage students, faculty, staff and the entire community in a vibrant, academically driven experience. This open-ended, lively discussion is a platform for the exploration of important issues, from a range of perspectives. Join the conversation, read the book and bring your thoughts to our discussion.
Day and Time: October 28th, 12:00PM-1:00PM in Union South (check TITU for room)
MASA will be raffling 15 free copies of the book to academic staff who are planning on attending this event and do not already have a copy of the book. Winners will be announced at the MASA Fall Breakfast on October 1st. You do not need to be present to win, but will be able to receive your copy of the book right away if you are present.
