We would like to thank our members who came out and joined us at our annual Spring Luncheon. The final count for the luncheon was 61 members! Our speaker, Diana Hess, gave us a thought provoking talk on the meaning of the Wisconsin Idea. As Dean of the School of Education, she has worked with Wisconsinites around the state to foster communication between academics and the public.
Nominations were also taken for open positions on the MASA board. Currently the board is looking for a new Treasurer and a new President Elect. If you would like to name yourself or another staff member as a nominee, please send us an email at uwmasa@gmail.com.
