So, instead of the Snowshoe/Walk on the Lake event scheduled for Friday, meet up with MASN academic staff colleagues at der Rathskeller in the newly re-opened Memorial Union on Friday, Feb. 24, 3:30pm-5:30pm. No registration required.

Meeting at Mendota Lodge Room, Memorial Union/Outdoor UW
This event features a snowshoe walk (or regular walk–snowshoes not required!) on Lake Mendota with academic staff colleagues, just for the fun of it! Picnic Point will be our destination and hot chocolate around a blazing fire our reward. Hoofers will have snowshoes and poles available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis (approx. $14 for snowshoes and poles).
We’ll meet at 3:30pm at the Mendota Lodge Room at Memorial Union/Outdoor UW to get outfitted and otherwise set before heading out together. We’ll plan to return there by 5:30, but return time is certainly flexible for those who want a shorter or longer trek, or more time by the fire.
